ABOUT MULINDE

Runner Mulinde, better known as Mulinde, is a Mozambican DJ and producer who has been present since 2017. Influenced by his musical taste and passion for EDM/House Music culture, he developed a desire for DJing. He took his initial steps in electronic genres such as Future House, Electro, Bass House, Dubstep, and Trap. Over time, he became more versatile, incorporating genres like Hip Hop, Afro Beats, and Dancehall/Reggaeton into his dj style. Now his sonority and style is more focused in House music genres such as Afro House, Afro Tech, Deep Tech, Tech House, Indie Dance and Melodic Techno.

Throughout his evolution and consolidation in Maputo city nightlife, Mulinde has played at various nightclubs and popular event venues, including Bate-Papo, Coconuts, The Press Club, Opium Maputo, and others.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Mulinde made appearances on television programs and served as a DJ on the Kassetes FM radio program on Radio Savana as he continued growing his social presence. Post-pandemic, he became a regular at Opium Maputo nightclub, where he assumed the role of resident DJ in February 2022.

Mulinde continued to build his career at large-scale events and big festivals across Africa, such as H2O Party in South Africa, Sabor Do Verão, Matola Sun-Down in The Garden, We Love Summer, and the main stage of the H2O Party Mozambique, having the pleasure of sharing the stage with artists such as Mochakk, DYRO, Victor Lou, Kyle Watson, Ashibah, Croatia Squad, JORD and many more

Mulinde also had a residency at Opium Maputo nightclub, considered one of the best nightclubs in Mozambique from 2022-2025. Mulinde is constantly seeking to evolve his style, performance, and sonic versatility. He is recognized for his strong stage presence,outstanding transitions,energizing performance, and interaction with the crowd during his shows, both in public and private events.
